Mobile Hopper
The hopper is a material storage and transportation device specifically designed for port environments. The upper part is a large funnel. Materials are poured into the funnel by the ship unloader or the grab of the crane, and then unloaded onto trucks or conveyor belts through the lower outlet of the funnel for material transfer.
According to the customers' requirements, the hopper can be fixed at the port or wharf. It can also be equipped with tires to move or be designed to move along the railway tracks. Moreover, depending on the characteristics of different materials, dust removal and environmental protection devices, a driver's cabin, an air conditioner and other devices can be added to it.

1. Sturdy and durable materials:
The port hopper is manufactured from high-strength and high-quality steel, such as Q235. The thickness of the steel in key components like the hopper body, triangular material distributor, and material gate is not less than 12mm.
2. Scientific and reasonable hopper body design:
The hopper body is in the shape of a pyramid. The material gate at the bottom of the lower end precisely controls the loading quantity for the short-haul vehicles. Advanced arc technology is applied to the four corners of the hopper body, effectively reducing the accumulation of materials, ensuring smooth material discharge, and completely eliminating the problem of material blockage.
3. Stable steel structure frame:
(1) The columns of the steel structure frame of the hopper are made of thick-walled seamless pipes (325mm x 10mm), providing a solid and stable support for the entire hopper.
(2) The angles between the hopper body and the horizontal plane are carefully designed. This design not only ensures the smooth sliding of materials inside the hopper but also takes into account the structural stability, enabling the hopper to remain stable under heavy loads.
4. Humanized auxiliary design:
A pyramid-shaped material distributor is installed in the middle of the upper part of the hopper, which can evenly distribute the materials entering the hopper and avoid excessive local pressure caused by the concentrated accumulation of materials.
(1) A flow-blocking plate is installed at the upper hopper opening, effectively blocking the splashing of materials when they enter the hopper and improving the material collection efficiency.
(2) A three-sided cleaning platform is fabricated and installed on the outer side of the material receiving port, making it convenient for the staff to carry out daily cleaning and maintenance of the hopper.
(3) A maintenance platform (laid with 8mm thick diamond-shaped steel mesh) is fabricated and installed on the same horizontal plane of the discharge port, providing a safe and convenient operating space for the maintenance of the equipment. (4) Each hopper is equipped with a 50w shock-resistant LED lighting lamp, which can ensure that the staff can clearly observe the internal situation of the hopper even in a dim working environment.
