The spreader is equipped on 40t gantry crane to load and unload containers. The spreader is light, no power, easy to operate and cheap. There are two kinds of spreader 32t-20' and 40t-40'.
Operation: first put the four main lifting ropes riggings of the spreaders and one turning stretch wire rope in the hook of the gantry crane. Before lifting, the guider points to open direction. By the localizers at the four sides of the spreader and the skilled operation, the four turning locks of spreader are locked into the corner, and then the hook is started slowly. The stretch wire rope is firstly tight to pull turning mechanism and turn the turning lock in 90°and be closed, and then keep lifting the hook .The container is lifted.| Type | SWL | Dead Weight |
