Port Hoppers

The hopper is a material storage and transportation device specifically designed for port environments. The upper part is a large funnel. Materials are poured into the funnel by the ship unloader or the grab of the crane, and then unloaded onto trucks or conveyor belts through the lower outlet of the funnel for material transfer.

According to the customers' requirements, the hopper can be fixed at the port or wharf. It can also be equipped with tires to move or be designed to move along the railway tracks. Moreover, depending on the characteristics of different materials, dust removal and environmental protection devices, a driver's cabin, an air conditioner and other devices can be added to it.
 

ECO Dedusted Hopper

ECO dedusted hopper have two parts, up side parts and downparts, because open mouth of feeding funnel is larger enough, so it is difficult for it to cause dust. And at the feedopening of hopper, have installed induced draft cover, so that it can avoid too much dust when loadingmaterial to trucks. 

All adsorbent dust will fall back to the parts of feed opening via back flushing of dirt catcher,This equipment adopted advanced technology from foreign, reasonable design, and work at a very good condition.

How hoppers work?

Enjue hoppers are mainly used for unloading bulk cargo onto trucks or conveyor belts.
1. Grabbing the cargo through the grab type gantry crane;
2. Grabbed materials are placed on top of the loading system through the relevant travelling mechanism of the gantry crane;
3. Opening the grab through the PLC control system of the gantry crane and loading the bulk goods directly into the hopper;
4. There is an electro-hydraulic actuator control device on the hopper, which is used to control the output of the goods, so that the hopper can work safely and effectively when loading the goods and improve the working efficiency.
5. The lower end of the hopper is connected to a truck or conveyor belt or bag filling machine to unload the goods and send them to the warehouse or other places.
